Robin and Jubilee

I expected Jubilee to become a bigger character after how prominently she was featured on the animated X-Men series in the 90's.  I kind of lost track of her in the comics after she became a vampire for some reason or another.  In the movies she has been used for little more than background scenery.  Maybe in the a future film or one of the spin-offs like New Mutants she will finally get her chance to shine.

So, is this a rekindling of the love from the DC vs. Marvel days? This could spawn a couples friendship with Captain America and Wonder Woman.

Mickey's suggestion has a lot of merit. These two had a lot of potential...before Marvel got obsessed with Ultimates and zombies. As for Jubilee becoming a vampire? They probably stole the idea from Looker (of the post-Batman Outsiders).

In any event; Happy Easter, Ross! :-)

Happy Easter!

I can remember reading Jubilee's first appearance...

This art makes Robin look a lot younger than Jubilee unlike the Marvel vs DC comic.

Unfortunately, I don't think Jubilee's central role in the less than well received "Generation X" TV movie 1996 (Pilot?) helped her case. IIRC, it aired on Fox A shame it didn't go better I actually thought their version of Emma Frost as Headmistress of Xavier Academy was interesting also.

Vampire-single-mom-Jubilee is one of those concepts that shouldn't work... and yet, it's easily the most interesting the character has ever been.

She will be leading the new Generation X team. I like the team up but I would have like to see her as Jim Lee first drew her since he was copying Robin's first look.

Hey look! It'a the first Robin of Spring!

As for Jubilee being a vampire, wouldn't that just make her fit in better with the Bat-family?

@Sonofjack: it might also (mistakenly, of course) set Blade on their collective Bat-butts!

Perhaps coincidentally, these two were Amalgamated into Sparrow, the sidekick to the Dark Claw. #UselessTrivia

Jubilation Lee is my favorite parody (satire/spoof?) of Robin the Boy Wonder.
