The Metal Men Vs. Ultron

This would be a fun battle, not only visually but also seeing how the different personalities of The Metal Men clash against the cold determination of Ultron.  I can imagine him not having much patience with the fact that Doc magnus' creations long to be accepted by humanity rather than join him in trying to conquer it.

Even better: Ultron and H-8 vs Metal Men and Machine Man (with special appearance by Magnus - Robot Fighter).
Also hoping for Brain Boy vs Professor X.

I would see Ultron wanting the abilities of Metal Man turning Ultron into Ultron version of Alloy which is all of the Metal Men fused together as appearing in Kingdom Come and Barman: Brave and Bold cartoon but since him failing when their Responsometers overwhelming him.

I think that you've made a very astute point, Ross, in pointing out how much Ultron would resent the Metal Men for acting so human.

The question is, who would he hate more: Tin for being so timid or Platinum for being in love with Doc Magnus, her human "master"?

And is it possible that Mercury would decide that Ultron was right and join his war against man?

(I should confess that my knowledge of the Metal Men's personalities comes mostly from their Bob Haney scripted team-ups with Batman in B&B.)

Why does Ultron have skinny chicken legs? He reminds me of Rog 2000.

They eventually acquired that ability in mainstream continuity, too, at least when under somebody else's control in 'JLA: Generation Lost'.

There's always been the question of how Pym, primarily a biochemist by training, started building robots as well: Maybe he got some technical advice from Doc Magnus in the first place?

Another inspired pairing that makes so much sense you'd wish they'd thought of it sooner....

Either that, or he's plagiarizing Cyborg Maul.
